*Required Skills:* Network Engineer I who will ensure the security,
stability and integrity of corporate and remote sites’ voice, data, video
and wireless network services. This is achieved by planning, designing,
implementing and maintaining firewalls, Local Area Networks
*(LANS),*Virtual Lans
*(VLANS),* Wide Area Networks *(WANS),* Virtual Private Networks
*(VPNS),*VoIP Servers and Monitoring Systems. The Network Engineer
will be
responsible for installing, monitoring, maintaining, and optimizing all
network hardware, software, and communication links. This individual will
analyze and resolve network hardware and software problems in a timely and
accurate fashion, monitor network security, respond to reported issues and
provide user training where required. The Network Engineer will also perform
other duties as necessary. We seek a motivated, hands-on team-player who can
prioritize and manage time and projects effectively.

·         *CCNA & *CCNP* is Required*

·         3+ Years working with Cisco Equipment (switches, routers, access
points, call managers and unity connection)

·         Deep understanding of IP, EIGRP, and layer 2/3 switching required

·         Knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Desktop Systems, Cisco, VoIP,
Security, Symantec Products and Servers.

·         Some Active Directory Support

·         Work with DSL, T1, DS3

*Essential Duties and Responsibilities: *

1.      Setup and installation of network hardware including routers,
switches, and servers.

2.       Provide ongoing monitoring and troubleshooting of the remote
LAN/WAN Infrastructures.

3.       Implementing troubleshooting tools and procedures to provide
increased end user support.

4.       Complete moves, adds, and changes for VoIP telephones, voicemail
and Rightfax Accounts.

5.      Conduct sites survey and assess and document current site network
configuration and user requirements.

6.       Responsible for level-2 on-site and remote IT Support for all Dean
Foods users with a primary focus on network, VoIP, wireless and server
systems.

7.      Respond to and manage helpdesk tracking system tickets. Research and
resolves issues in a timely manner and enters resolution into the helpdesk
tracking system as needed.

8.       Document problem determination steps and resolution into the
helpdesk tracking system.

9.       Provide support for VPN connected users.

10.   Perform backup and security administration tasks.
