Please let us know if you have any one available for the same. *Position: Service Engineer - IC3* *Location: Sunnyvale, CA* *Duration: Contract longterm* The ideal candidate for this position will have a strong Unix background with extensive knowledge of how the Internet works. The candidate will have an opportunity to work on a very exciting and challenging platform involving mobile devices. This will be a very fast paced role and the individual will be interfacing with many of the teams in Mobile. The successful candidate will be integral to the Mobile SE team and will lead key projects from design through launch. *Job responsibilities ** * - Administer complex Unix-based systems in a multi-tiered architecture, generally from the operating system or application level and up. - Assist with debugging of issues in both the production environment as well as the staging environment - Work closely with the Dev/QA team on new projects/requirements to ensure changes are sound and maintainable in production - Be part of Mobile SE team helping with production launches as well as code pushes - Take on-call rotations - Be able to communicate issues and resolutions to a wide audience - Ensure that issues are dealt with in a timely fashion, and work to ensure that they only happen once - Operate in a team spread out across the globe * * *Job requirements* - Preference for and experience working with Unix-based servers and open source software; we use FreeBSD, Linux, Apache, PHP, Nagios and MySQL (among other things), and the ideal candidate should be comfortable with all of these technologies. _ Ability to debug issues on a Unix environment in a multi-tiered architecture _ Understanding of common internet protocols (HTTP, HTTPS, SSH, etc...) and ways to troubleshoot these - Understanding of common network technologies (Akamai, VIPs, GSLB, etc...) - Understanding of redundancy and reliability and ways to achieve these - Ability to work with multiple teams simultaneously with multiple requirements - Thorough understanding of the software development life-cycle - Good documentation and communication skills - Ability to work in a fast paced environment independently and meet deadlines - Attention to details - Desire to work as a part of a team; strong interpersonal skills relating to cooperation and collaboration - Drive to take on responsibilities and do whatever it takes to get the job done (and then organize things to make your life easier) Thanks & Regards Narendra Systel, Inc Direct no: 678-261-5243 Mail id: nar...@systelinc.com <http://www.systelinc.com/> -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP BASIS" group.
