*Required Skills: *
*EDUCATION*: Minimum Bachelor’s; Master’s degree preferred *EXPERIENCE*:
Minimum 8 years of related experience; at least 3 of those years should
while leading teams of 4 or more people.
*- Basic skills required: *
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to lead a team
- *Core technical skills required*: Java, J2EE, HTML, .Net, JavaScript, web
programming (Servlets, Struts), Oracle, Hibernate and Spring experience is a
must.
- *Experience with following skills would be a plus*: Flex, Core Design
patterns and Refactoring techniques, exposure to SOA principles and Agile
programming methodologies.
- Understanding of airline industry desired, but not required. Previous
experience programming inventory management applications and understanding
of in-flight provisioning is a plus.
*Key Duties/Responsibilities:*
New development and maintenance for the Sabre® AirVision™ In-flight Solution
suite; supervision of local team; administrative duties required as part of
this supervision.
*Long Desc: *
Under general direction, develops, codes, tests and debugs new complex
software solutions or enhancements to existing software in a maintenance
capacity.
Has excellent understanding of business application.
Works with technical staff to understand problems with software and resolve
them.
Resolves customer complaints with software and responds to suggestions for
improvements and enhancements.
May assist in development of software technical documentation. Demonstrates
software.
Demonstrates broad knowledge of technical solutions.
Designs and codes complex applications using advanced technology; May create
optimization programs to resolve problems; May design and build prototype
applications.
