Thank you…! * * * *Need Sr. Business Analyst who is now in Jr. Project Manager role.** 12 Months Contract* *Jersey City, NJ* *Rate: $45/hr* *Responsibilities**:* Client Engagement - Liaising extensively with business users and technology partners, at all levels - Understand and summarize high level client needs. - Understanding the accounting and control and business processes in order to improve the current process - Identifying options for potential solutions and assessing them for both technical and business suitability and creating logical and innovative solutions to complex problems - Contributing to proposals for modified or replacement systems - Liaison with the developers and a variety of end users to ensure technical compatibility and user satisfaction *Business Requirements Lifecycle* - Translating client requirements into detailed documented business requirements, functional specifications, and use cases where applicable - Creating/executing test scripts in Quality Center - Testing new/modified systems as part of system integration and user acceptance testing - Documenting defects in Quality Center and following up with the developers to ensure that the defect is fixed - Writing user manuals for new/modified systems - Providing training to users of a new system. The training could be individual or in groups - Create prototypes / ad-hoc reports in reporting tools, e.g., Business Objects, etc, as a model for the business users as well as IT and understanding the underlying SQL code in order to communicate with the development team *Skills**:* - Process mapping – current/future state** - Requirements / Functional specifications / Use Cases** - Test scripting, UAT testing and defect resolution** - Strong experience with Business Objects XI - Excellent Microsoft Office skills, especially MS Access querying skills and MS Excel pivot tables - Strong Visio skills - Ability to work independently and multi-task - Good communication skills, ability to understand the business processes and convey the business needs as requirement documents § Minimum 5-7 years of experience as a Junior Project Manager/Sr Business Analyst.
