The client has various databases in Oracle in UNIX and Windows platforms. The data warehouse is being built using Oracle OWB. The initial and primary tasks of this consultant would be to Data Warehouse and ETL related tasks; where the data from multiple and disparate systems will be mapped, validated and stored in the data warehouse. Further phases will include more of Data warehousing using OWB and other oracle tools. Skills Required:** § *SOLID ETL* Experience handling large volumes of data. § Data loading experience using various methods § Expert level in using SQL, PL/SQL, DB tuning and handling of large volume of data § Experience working with flat files, SQL loader and other means is a must § Experience working with *Oracle Warehouse Builder (OWB)*. § Must be proficient in the usage of all aspects of OWB § The candidate must also have hands-on *PL/SQL*, developer skills in writing validation procedures/triggers. § Must have experience handling complex and advanced PL/SQL features in Oracle § Performance tuning and writing and following best PL/SQL features is required. § Exposure towards *COGNOS* is desired but not required, this position is for ETL and not for Cognos Developer NOTE for Team: ** We need to get below self assessment from the candidate one’s you feel that he can match with the requirement, this needs to be rated out of 10 1.
