*Title:** ClearCase/ClearQuest Administrator & Tool Developer Location: Herndon, VA*** * * *Length: 6 Months*** *Job Description –Summary Rational tools administrator.* Duties ● Mandatory experience in administration of the Rational tools ClearCase, ClearQuest, RequisitePro in a Unix/Linux environment. ● Mandatory experience with installation and/or upgrade of the Rational ClearCase, ClearQuest, and RequisitePro server components in a Unix/Linux environment. ● Mandatory experience with data migration. ● Experience with Oracle mandatory. ● Partner with application and infrastructure architects and developers to maintain and improve the overall performance, reliability, scalability, supportability of the application and infrastructure. ● Analyze and provide problem resolution on technical issues. Identify potential improvements to increase the reliability, availability, supportability and performance of the applications and infrastructure. Interface with developers, test users; communicate with technical, management, and external teams to identify and resolve problems. *Technical Requirements Highly Desired* Desired • Deep knowledge of ClearCase UCM, Oracle databases, PL/SQL, Script Programming (UNIX Shell, Perl, Python, etc), software development life cycle. • Knowledge of batch scheduling software. • Knowledge of change management procedures and tools: ClearCase, ClearQuest, RequisitePro. • Exceptional communication skills (both written and verbal) • Experience with techniques in problem identification, documentation, resolution, and testing • Strong customer service skills • Strong problem solving and analytic skills • Strong technical foundation and proven track record of delivering high quality work. Educational Requirements ● Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business Administration or related field or equivalent work experience. Masters Degree preferred.
