Job Title: EDI Support Engineer Location: Columbus, Ohio Duration: 3 to 6 Months
Engagement Specific Roles and Responsibilities Consultant will have responsibility for migrating all transactions and communications from small independent facility into centralized IT support environment Consultant will have responsibility for coordination between WI, external service provider, and trading partners needed to migrate EDI transactions from internal support to external service provider without impacting business efforts of all parties Consultant will have responsibility for MRS and Test Data Development needed to migrate EDI transactions from internal support to external service provider Consultant will have responsibility for testing maps and transactions developed by external service provider needed to migrate EDI transactions from internal support to external service provider Consultant will assist other EDI analysts as needed and as time is available in other EDI related support activities Consultant MUST have experience in the following areas: Developing, modifying and testing UNIX scripts in support of an EDI environment EDI related communications requirements and processing Developing requirements for EDI mapping, Testing EDI transactions (Internal Unit, Integrated/System and trading partner) Working with internal and external business and trading partners Creating and modifying EDI maps, preferably in a Gentran UNIX environment Consultant is preferred to have experience in the following areas: Working with Oracle or other ERP applications Production Support in a Gentran UNIX environment Work in the Steel Industry Experience with EDI 810, 850, 856, 860, 863, and 870 transactions Thanks Leon Parker - l...@panzersolutions.com 203-983-9475 -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP BASIS" group.
