Please find the requirement below. *Job Title: Senior Middleware Engineer (Tibco and Weblogic)* *Location: San Francisco, CA (ideally but the candidate might be able to work remotely – see below)* *Duration: 6 Months Rate : **OPEN* *Start Date: ASAP* *Job Description:* The Middleware engineer manages the implementation and support of Tibco Business Connect, Tibco Portal Builder, EMS and BusinessWorks across multiple applications. Individuals in this role serve as a liaison between Operations, Infrastructure and Application Development regarding the implementation and maintenance of the environments evolves existing processes to affect support for both development and production environments, monitors log files, performance issues and the production environment for mission critical systems. The individual in this role should have an understanding of the functionality of the business area applications and assists in tailoring the environment to meet the users' needs. Works with the infrastructure and development teams, participating in and validating technology decisions. The scope of responsibilities will include several aspects of middleware and systems support for a range of high-technology, production and non-production applications in a high-availability environment. Key technologies in use include TIBCO, Oracle/BEA Weblogic, Oracle Automated Storage Manager, Oracle Database (10g, 11i, RAC), Apache, Crystal Reports/Business Objects XI, Powerbuilder, Sun/Oracle iPlanet, Netegrity Siteminder, and Oracle OAM. The successful candidate will posses a broad range of experience in supporting complex environments with a multi-vendor support model, demonstrate personal initiative and excellent communication skills, and have experience working with multi-tiered applications hosted on Sun Solaris, IBM AIX, and Microsoft Windows platforms. Key responsibilities for this position include direct responsibility for performing new technology evaluation and selection, including the design and execution of functional testing; Development of documentation, processes, and procedures for the installation, maintenance, and configuration of supported application software products; Developing technology solutions for projects based on customer-submitted requirements, including associated project plan tasks, timelines, and technical implementation approach; Performing system maintenance, troubleshooting, incident response, and tuning required to meet applicable Service Level Agreements; and developing technical solutions for complex problems. This position will require significant customer interaction as well the ability to engage and work with multiple vendors for the execution of work tasks and projects. *Required Education/Skills:* Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field and 7+ years related experience. Excellent communication, teamwork, and customer relationship management skills.
