JAVA DEVELOPER/PROJECT MANAGER *Sunnyvale**, CA** ( Need Locals) * * * *Duties & Responsibilities: * Development of new IBM WebSphere Portal based web applications. Providing support to existing external facing web applications. Responsible for working with business stakeholders to analyze their requirements and objectives. Proposing and designing solution(s) that meets their new requirements. Successful delivery of *IBM WebSphere Portal solutions. * Working with other team members, on-site as well as off-shore for effective scheduling of deliverables. Performing code reviews. Work with the Business and Quality Assurance team to ensure our websites and applications are very high quality and work across spectrum of browsers. Provide recommendations for process improvement. Work closely with the *AMS* team to ensure that mutually agreed upon *SLAs*are met and followed. *Position Specifications:* Position requires a BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent. 4+ years Software Development Project Management experience. Over 6 year of IT experience with *over 2 years experience in IBM WebSphere Portal 5.x and WebSphere Application Server 5.x*. Experience in working on version 6.x is a definite plus. Experience in Interwoven products such as Team Site, Work Site, Open Deploy a definite plus. Prior hands-on experience in coding with *Java, CSS, AJAX, JavaScript, JSP, HTML/XHTML.* Experience in working with off-shore development teams a plus. The applicant must have the ability to communicate effectively with non-technical associates and to present plans and ideas in front of a group. Excellent knowledge of Software Development as well as Project Management Life cycle.
