In this position, the candidate performs moderately complex administration and support of the version control tool Serena Version Manager, implementations of batch job schedules using Cronacle (Redwood Explorer) and support and administration of the alert management and notification software AlarmPoint. The candidate also performs moderately complex technical, analytical, operational and administrative tasks, resolving routine issues pertaining to administration, installations, setup, error messages, system statuses, downtime procedures etc. This position ensures client satisfaction by providing preventative maintenance and troubleshooting. The candidate contributes to team goals, shares accountability for team objectives and ensures strict compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley controls and procedures. *SAP ABAP and NWDI transports, Serena Version Manager, Software Configuration ** Management.* *Required Soft Skills:* • Excellent interpersonal skills including teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral • Flexibility to adapt to frequently changing requirements and priorities • Willingness to learn new technologies and software tools • Ability to handle multiple concurrent assignments • Self-motivated • Detail-oriented • Strong analytical and logical reasoning ability • Organized and thorough Batch job scheduling using Redwood Cronacle, AlarmPoint Administration, Software Release and Deployment Management, programming/scripting. • Experience *with SAP and related technologies (ABAP, NWDI) * *• *Software version control methodology (administration experience with Serena Version Manager) • Good understanding of the distributed computing environment • Good understanding of SDLC (Software Development Life-Cycle) methodologies • Good understanding of Sarbanes-Oxley requirements • Proficiency with Microsoft Office productivity software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) • 1* – 2 years of information technology work experience * • *Experience with software programming and scripting** **(Visual Basic, VB.Net, VBScript, ASP.Net, C#, Web Services etc**.) * • Experience with *SQL, PL/SQL and relational databases such as Oracle and SQL Server * *• **Experience with job scheduling tools such as Redwood Cronacle and alert management tools such as AlarmPoint is a plus** * *• *Good understanding of ITIL and ITSM best practices • Basic understanding of Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery procedures This position requires a bachelor’s degree in an Information Technology or related field. Other majors and/or qualifications below a bachelor’s degree may be considered if accompanied by other relevant technical training and/or work experience.
