Location: Holmdel, NJ Duration: 1 Year + This client is looking for a *Senior Web Services Developer*, Solutions Delivery. *Qualifications:* 1. BA/BS degree (or equivalent) minimum (Computer Science or related field). 2. Minimum 5 years of experience as a software developer for Web-based applications. 3. Proven experience leading junior developers in a customer environment. *Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:* 1. Experience/expertise in coding web services in Java 2. Experience with Windows XP; Windows Vista and 7 experience a plus. 3. Experience with MS Office Outlook, Word, Visio, Excel, and Project. 4. Experience with common RDBMS technologies including MS SQL Server and Oracle; specific experience with MS SQL Server 2005, 2008, and Oracle 10g or 11g a plus. 5. General understanding of computing and computers; knowledge of key hardware and software components, software development practices and principles. 6. Understanding of typical IT infrastructure; hardware specifications, networking and routing, communication protocols (TCP/IP), authentication, security. 7. Excellent logical and analytical skills. 8. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to change communication style based on the audience. 9. Leadership skills and ability to act as a trusted advisor. 10. Experience with other tracking software systems, document management systems or other quality management software tools (i.e. ERP, MES, EDMS, and QMS). 11. Experience working with or implementing Documentum, SharePoint, LiveLink, SAP, Crystal Reports, TrackWise, and business intelligence tools a plus. 12. Working knowledge of standards web service standards: XML, SOAP, XML-REST, WSDL 13. Working knowledge of at least one of the following (SAP, SharePoint, C#, SQL) 14. Experience in Apache Tomcat or an equivalent application server technology 15. Ability to time manage and work for multiple projects at any given period 16. Life sciences experience beneficial. 17. Position requires 90% out of state travel to customer sites. 18. Ability to manage multiple priorities and coordinate technical activities across resources.
