TITLE: Sr. Mobility Engineer(Platforms) LOCATION: PA Duration: 6 months Rate: Open JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: As a member of the Mobility Engineering Team, this position is responsible for the architecture, design, engineering and support of the production mobility environment. The mobility environment includes but is not limited to: mobility platform engineering, device selection and certification, scripting of deployment packages, updates, and other mobile applications in alignment with business initiatives. Major Duties: * 24x7 on call rotation for production support break/fix issues and change management implementation * Assist members of the team by working collaboratively on projects and emerging industry technologies and practices * Assist in defining standards and best practices and implementing them as engineered bundled solutions using automation tools * Management of the mobility infrastructure environment which includes reporting and management of metrics and KPIs, deploying packages, creating or modifying security policies, and other common tasks * Engineer solutions for mobile architectures and device configurations for new projects being deployed to production * Work with applications teams to review new applications and define requirements and standards to be introduced into production * Assist with documentation of procedures, configurations, test scripts and standards * Assist with automating process and maintenance of device deployment and management technologies * Identify current bottlenecks and breakdowns in process and streamlining provisioning solutions * Engineer and write scripts to automate standard processes and bringing new devices/services to production more efficiently * Perform other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications: Education: ยท BS Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems or 6+ years work or industry related experience. * Possession of industry recognized certifications (MCSE, ITIL, etc.) is a plus Experience: * At least 2 years experience with creating deployment packages utilizing scripting skills in Visual Studio, VB, .NET, C#, or Java formobile device platforms * At least 6 years experience in Telecommunications, Operations, or Engineering field supporting production environments with 24x7 escalations * Experience writing test scripts and working with test tools and applications * Solid understanding of the TCP/IP protocol suite (e.g. ARP, IP, TCP, DNS, UDP, and SNMP) and testing tools (nslookup, ping, and traceroute to name a few) * Experience and familiarity with mobile device management utilities such as Afaria, AirWatch, Good, MobileIron, or other multi-platform vendors * Understanding of mobile VPN solutions such as Juniper or NetMotion * Mobility experience with multiple platforms including Windows Mobile, iOS, and Android * Familiar with the use of physical and virtual Microsoft Windowsserver operating systems including Windows 2003 and Windows 2008 R2 * Creative, self-motivated team player willing to take the lead developing cutting-edge solutions using proven methodologies * Proven analytical, problem solving and organizational ability * Basic understanding of project management essentials (i.e. Microsoft Project, ability to create a project plan, time management, risk analysis, etc) * Excellent oral/written communication and inter-personal skills with a strong attention to detail Thanks and Regards Suman Bakshi *suman.bak...@harriersys.com : sa...@harriersys.com* Ph # 732 637 0815 ** * <http://in.linkedin.com/pub/suman-it-recruiter-bakshi/10/2b9/73>* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP BASIS" group.
