*Need: Technical Business Analyst with Insurance Experience.* **

Candidates should have 6+ years of relevant experience:

§        Created SDLC deliverables, including business requirements,
functional specifications, use cases, and test plan/cases
§        Developed work plans
§        Conducted meetings
§        Liaison with developers

*Other Requirements:*

Position may require some travel to vendor sites as well as between Guardian
offices to meet with project teams and/or business customers. (Occasional
0-10%)

   - Generally works independently with periodic reviews with management
   - Acts to develop and advance a long-range vision of how IT will support
   the business

   - Provides leadership and unique insights in the analysis of customer
   business requirements that may cross multiple functional areas and/or
   multiple technical platforms, and have broad strategic implications for
   Guardian
   - Proactive identifies opportunities for re engineering and may lead
   reengineering efforts
   - Acts as project lead

      §        Ability to lead meetings, excellent communication skills both
      oral and written

      customer areas, as it relates to technology
      5. Decision Making
      §        Has impact on decision making which affects all of IT



Knowledge:

§        Demonstrates strong understanding of the current and future
technology architecture, including the inter-operability of technologies
§        Links new, emerging technologies with business needs
§        Understands architectural issues and factors them into decisions
and recommendations
§        Working knowledge of the IT functions / services in order to
provide foundation for necessary communications required to execute project
activities
§        Can document required analysis-related deliverables, including:
process flows, technical specifications, architectural overview of a system,
data models/maps, state diagrams, information and system flows, report
layouts, impact analysis

*§        Understands customer requirements and their impact on proposed
solution
§        Anticipates how technology enhancements will affect business
processes
§        Understands business impact on various solutions, and can see
tradeoffs between business needs, technology requirements and costs
§        Can document complex logical data and process modeling and
translate user needs into business and functional requirements along with
use cases
