Description: These are very high level Java positions! Need these candidates to be excellent as they will be thoroughly teched out! Communication needs to be 8-9/10. The Java Developer is responsible for integrating open-source solutions with vendor products through building the abstraction layers on top of distributed resource orchestration and data persistence systems, integration with the existing monitoring and operational support environment and deployment tools. Candidates should be well versed in Java and various components of the J2EE stack and application servers, including J2SE, Tomcat, Weblogic, Spring, Eclipse, Ant, Maven, JUnit, and JMS. Experience with persistence stacks such as Hibernate, JDO, JPA and relational databases such as Oracle, Derby or Sybase is a plus. Ability to learn new technologies quickly in a self-driven manner is critical. This is a senior-level position: additional duties include participation in the architectural analysis and design of the system and mentoring other developers on the team.
