Ensure profitable membership retention and growth within the region or enrolled accounts territory. 2. Monitor workload measures and coach and train sales and account services staff. 3. Develop marketing strategies for new business and enrolled account sales by market segment to enhance local health care client’s ability to meet membership, retention, and revenue goals. 4. Monitor client development and administrative support activities in accordance with individual account service plans. 5. Identify key accounts and assign in the development of strategies to achieve membership goals. 6. Establish and maintain strong working relationships with employee benefit administrators, business leaders, consulting firms and brokers. Respond to request for information about local health care client’s specific products. 7. Develop and implement a professional development program for new business and account services staff. 8. Facilitate the preparation of required sales and account services reports, including account specific forecasting, trending and analysis. 9. Represent local health care client at various community functions 10. Manage new business and account services staff in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws including: interviewing, hiring and training employees, planning, assigning and directing work, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees, addressing complaints and resolving problems. 11. Develop and implement motivational programs for account services staff. 12. Other duties as assigned.
