Start Date 5/23/11 End Date 11/22/1** * Description/Comment: BNY Mellon Asset Servicing is searching for an individual who will function in the role of Software Developer II. - The ideal candidate is expected to have the skills and experience (minimum 5-7 years) necessary to provide support of the Business Objects XIR2 and XIR3 version suite of products. - - The consultant would be part of a team providing support and would be expected to have in-depth technical experience in deploying, supporting, migrating and administering the Business Objects suite of tools and administering shell scripts. - - The skills and experience needed to provide product support of our Business Objects tools including Web Intelligence, Central Management Console, Import Wizard, and other Business Objects Enterprise tools. Responsibilities: - Working on support with vendors on root cause analysis. - Monitoring product performance, troubleshooting, diagnostic, and system configurations. - Testing new releases/fixes/service packs. - Excellent hands-on proficiency with Oracle SQL, and Shell scripting. - Experience with Red Hat Linux and Solaris a plus.
