Please send resume to bas...@boston-technology.com Title: - .Net Architect Location: Jersey City Duration: 1 year. *Job Decription: * The technical environment is .Net 2.0 and 3.5 / C# clients with a MS SQL database server along with a number of remoting and web services. The Programmer/Analyst is expected to be fully proficient in object oriented programming and service oriented architectures and to develop and support applications in C# .net. He also needs to be familiar with all aspects of the development lifecycle. This includes working with users to define new requirements, write technical and functional specifications, develop new functionalities, perform User Acceptance Tests, and be able to diagnose problems, manage deployment, and report to clients and management. The user community ranges from financial engineers, traders, risk managers, middle office and back office. The application includes a hedge funds referential database providing descriptive and market data as well as credit/market risk analysis, hedge funds shares portfolios management, risk monitoring modules and calculators, a web portal with client reporting and simulation functionalities This position requires being able to work alone as well as in a team (development team and/or users); as well as being able to work on any part of the development life cycle, on support tasks, testing, deployment and production reporting. This is an intermediate level role within the development team and requires both business analysis skills and technical development skills.
