Tom is looking for a heads down Data Modeler. This is initially a 12 week project but has the potential to be extend 3-6+ months after. * * Responsibilities/Accountabilities** • Leads logical and physical data design, develops detailed dimensional data models in alignment with Data Architecture & Standards. Defines and publishes metadata definitions. • Interfaces with program / project managers, product management and business data users to understand customer information requirements and translate them into detailed technical data requirements that drive development of data warehouse solutions. Additional Job Info: • Demonstrated expertise in analysis and design of large scale, high volume, data warehouse and analytical processing databases • In-depth knowledge, expertise in database internals, data structures, data retrieval and access mechanisms • Experience in SQL programming in two of the following database technologies: Oracle. Experience with Database Tools & Utilities (SQL Plus and TOAD or AQT). • Experience with Entity-Relationship and Dimensional modeling (ERWin Data Modeler, Model Manager) • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or relevant field He said that Healthcare experience would be preferred but is not required.
