Job Description
Scope of Work: Routine server support activity and ad-hoc requests, Database
support for operations and development of data warehousing on MS SQL 2008
databases.
Skills:
• Technical Architect level experience.
• Excellent Windows server management skill
• Strong MS SQL 2008 Database administration
Including : Capacity planning, Performance tuning / troubleshooting and
server setup / installs.
• Solid understanding of server hardware
• Familiar with SAN technologies
• Very good understanding of virtualization technology and infrastructure
• Excellent oral and written communications skills
• Great professional attitude, drive and passion
• Good analytical and problem solving skills
Desired Skills:
Experience with Data Warehousing environments
Knowledge of how a SQL Server fits into the enterprise architectural
environment.
