*Primary Skills: Location: *NYC * * *Duration: *6+ Months * * *Description:* Our client, a Worldwide leader in the Media/Entertainment Industry, is seeking a Front End Developer to join a collaborative Digital team, and assist with multiple Digital and Video related initiatives. This Developer must have strong PHP, HTML, CSS and JavaScript skills, with a passion for development. Approximately 90 % of the developers time will be doing hand-on Front-End Development, while the other 10% or so will be coordinating with other business units and light Project Management/Analysis work. *Responsibilities*: . Work on various high-profile projects, dealing specifically with Front-End Development for Video/Online/Digital Initiatives . Design and Implement customized digital and web solutions for internal and external customers . Build APIs and Software tools for both internal and external consumption . Advise Clients on Front-End Technical Strategy and UI Framework selection . Develop Front-End Code based on wireframes, visual design comps and screen specifications . Optimization engineering for Scalability (Minimized Footprint, high availability and speed) . Create and implement customized digital and web solutions for both internal and external customers; create interactive prototypes for testing and demonstrations . Ability to convert concepts into deliverable solutions *Requirements*: . 3+ years Front-End Development utilizing PHP, HTML, JavaScript and CSS . Experience with Agile Software Development . Must have excellent attitude, go-getter mentality willing and eager to learn new concepts/technologies . HTML5, AJAX and iQuery experience is a plus . Experience working as both a Developer for Front-End Video/Digital initiatives is a huge plus . Media/Entertainment background highly preferred .
