We have an Urgent Requirement for *SAN storage administration *on* Hitachi*.
This position is a Longterm Contract position with our client located at * Hauppauge**, NY**.* ** Location: *Hauppauge**, NY* Duration: Longterm *Resource Requirements:* SAN storage administration on Hitachi (AMS, USPV, and VSP). Not expected to be architecting or performing complex SAN operations but rather, day to day management on the HDS arrays with HDS software (storage provisioning). Regarding software: preference and focus on Hitachi Command Suite (HCS) 7.x (specifically Device Manager, Tuning Manager, Tiered Storage Manager). Considering how HCS 7.x is relatively new, at least Device Manager 6.x proficiency required. They do not use Storage Navigator (unless they have to). Also, another expectation: general unix/linux/windows scripting. Nothing fancy. Just to automate tasks to access the SAN storage from the host side. Below are the other general requirements which SAN admin who has worked on Hitachi should have.
