Candidates must be able to trouble shoot systems issues. The role will entail a mix of 50/50 Systems Admin / Developer work. Canadiates will need to have excellent understanding of Informatica PowerCenter and PowerExchange. They must also have a good understanding of Unix Solaris. Informatica is sitting on a Unix platform. Candidates should have scripting experience, the ability to run stop and start services. Custom commands. This position will support workload on ETL data warehousing and operational data integration projects for all business lines. The position will support production projects within ESS. The ETL System Administrator will provide after-hours on-call support and troubleshooting. Operation's support will be provided by identifying, researching and resolving ETL 'root cause' of production and performance issues. The ETL System Administrator will provide object management which includes configuration, security, and resource performance monitoring and trouble shooting. Shell scripting on Unix (Sun) will be required for Automating various ETL development and execution tasks. Maintain Informatica deployments scripts using pmrep command language.
