*Please note this req is asking for mainframe and xml- * Job Description: Testing Specialist II- SQL, System Testing, System Testing Tools, Mercury Test Suite, Health Insurance, Healthcare Information Systems, XML, Mainframe 1) Develop Test Plans, Test Approaches and Strategies for Membership Enrollment, Billing, and Fulfillment Systems 2) Perform System, Integration, End to End and Regression Testing 3) Facilitate UAT 4) Create SQL queries for backend testing 5) Create and Maintain test data as needed 6) Create testing status reports and report testing status 7) Execute automated tests 8) Coordinate testing activities across multiple test teams *Job Requirements: * 1) Strong Knowledge of all aspects of the software development life cycle, with a strong background in functional, system, integration and regression testing. 2) Experience testing member enrollment and billing systems 3) Experience testing member fulfillment systems 4) Mainframe testing experience preferred 5) Strong knowledge and working experience in SQL for searching, creating and updating/inserting test data. 6) Experience in reading Logical and Physical Data Models and Entity Relationship diagrams to understand the relationship between database tables and write necessary SQL queries for identifying test data. 7) Working experience with all modules of HP Quality Center. 8) Experience using System Use Cases, Technical Design Documents and System Architecture documents in identifying test cases providing complete coverage of testing. 9) Experience using flat files and XML files during testing. 10) Prior Experience at a Blue Plan a plus 11) Extensive experience with Backend/Database testing on Oracle and/or DB2 databases. 12) Experience with creating testing status reports. 13) Working knowledge of HIPAA transactions. 14) Strong Knowledge of Java based Web Applications, understanding of tiered web application architecture necessary for effective testing of the applications. 15) Has to be a quick learner. 16) Possesses excellent communication skills, collaborates and works effectively within the team as well as across other teams as necessary. 17) Possesses excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
