The scope of work to be performed by the Contractor includes the following: • Develop new JAVA applications • Enhance existing JAVA applications • Work with users to gather business requirements • Provide maintenance and support for JAVA applications as needed • Provide project leadership • Develop and/or enhance project and technical documentation • Work with State staff to mentor them in JAVA development skills a. Ability to communicate effectively(verbally and in writing) with technical and user staff b. Demonstrated experience with developing database driven applications in a JAVA environment using Eclipse IDE – 3+ years required c. Demonstrated experience with Apache Tomcat application server – 2+ years required d. Demonstrated experience working with users to gather and document business requirements – 2+ years required e. Demonstrated experience with DB2 – 2+ year required f. Demonstrated experience using ICEFaces Framework – 1+ year preferred g. Demonstrated experience with ADABASE – 1+ year preferred h. Demonstrated experience with NATURAL – 1 + year preferred i. Demonstrated experience with Microsoft SQL Server – 2+ years preferred j.
