*Job Title: QA with Java Test. Location: Newton, MA Duration: 6 months contract* *The client is looking for consultant who can make face-2-face interview after a successful phone interview.* This is more of a developer with extensive testing experience, will be doing some coding but will be testing other developers work. The QA Test Engineer will work in the Diagnostics Exchange product, a SAAS solution, which covers cataloging and ordering of specialized laboratory tests. The QA Test Engineer will work in an Agile environment and will collaborate with Business Analysts, Quality Assurance, Development, and Product Management to assure the quality of the software. *Experience required:* BS/BA in Computer Science or related field. 4+ years of software quality assurance or test automation development experience. Proficiency in all types of software testing with a focus on test automation. Experience with test automation tools such as JUnit, easyb, Selenium, FitNesse, QTP, etc. Hands-on coding skills in JAVA. Strong development background on large projects with cross-functional collaborative teams. Experience working in an Agile team strongly desired. Experience creating APIs, test harnesses or test automation required. Knowledge of Oracle database and proficiency in SQL. Experience with PostgreSQL is a plus. Experience with Spring and Hibernate is a plus. Experience with scripting languages (e.g. Groovy, Perl, Ruby, Python) is a plus. Experience with Continuous Integration tools (Team City preferred) is a plus. Experience using JIRA Studio is a plus. Experience with Clinical Laboratories and Healthcare Payor operations related experience a plus.
