*Location:* Eagan, MN *Duration:* 6 Months >From a backend testing perspective, Manager said that consultants need to know how to test REST API calls, know how to test library interfaces, & test modules supplying end points to other modules. Most of the testing is front end, but candidates need to be senior enough to test back end functions as well. Absolutely need programming experience- no way around it. Please do not send candidates without..this is not for automated or manual testers. Need candidate that have both front & backend testing. WLN – QED Based Development Candidate is expected to be self directed with the ability to identify appropriate implementation solutions & set technology direction. Agile experience & TDD (Test Driven Development) skills are a must. Strong collaboration & open to pairing. Candidate will have significant communication with leaders. Primary Responsibilities which are given below - Responsible for developing & implementing the testing of enterprise application projects - Develop & execute manual & automated tests using Java or C#, & the Selenium library - Partner with software development teams & other organizations to ensure their needs are being met & that our services are adding value - Actively participate in Iteration Planning, Stand-ups, & Team Retrospectives - Develop software-testing artifacts within an agile process - Develop & actively participate in build test automation using Java &/or other technologies - Create & manage software quality assessments; including anticipating project needs & implication of project decisions on quality - Proactively work to identify, clarify, & resolve issues; remove barriers within & outside the organization in a timely manner - Proactively share knowledge on best practices for testing software & act as a consultant across all the software development & testing groups - Provide test services through the utilization of new & emerging technologies - Continuously learn new technologies & domain knowledge Minimum Qualifications which are given below - A four-year degree in Computer Science or other related field - 5+ years of software testing &/or software development experience - 2+ years or C#/.Net Development experience - Experience with Linux - Software testing &/or software development experience working with enterprise applications developed using various technologies (J2EE, REST, Endpoint Dev/Testing, AJAX, etc.) - Knowledge &/or experience with the software tools & techniques used in automated testing - Experience working on large-scale projects that includes communication & collaboration across Development & Testing teams & interfacing with the Business - Collaborative leadership style & a strong commitment to continuous improvement Preferred Technology Skills which are given below - Experience working with Oracle Utilities & SQL Schemas - Experience working with Selenium Library - XML & DTD/Schema background - Experience using Team Foundation Server for source control, defect management, & workflow management Thanks & Regards, *Gaurav Seth* ITECS *IT & EBusiness Consulting Services Inc.* Ph: 516.499 6042 | Fax: 347 602 9084/866 515 6599 *gau...@itecsus.com* | www.itecsus.com -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP BASIS" group.
