Location: Schaumburg, IL Duration: 6 months Rate: Open The following are the capabilities we are looking for: · history with system to system movement of data with EJB, Swing Batch capabilities is preferred; along with publish/submit concepts. · experience with various operative environments, toolsets and development methodologies · Experience with Java, J2EE/JavaEE, Web services, BPEL, SQL · Experience with SOA, XML, XSLT, PL/SQL, ESP, Oracle Database preferred · Understanding of RAD, SDLC, Client Server/Distributed Application Design and Development · UNIX, Client/Server, PC Development Tools, Internet/Intranet · Ability to communicate effectively with teams, peers, clients The following are the examples of tasks they would need to do on a day to day basis: · Review existing documentation and design of the integrations for the Student Information System; identify and document gaps for the integration components · Participate in the detail design and reviews of the technical system requirements and components for the Student Information System solution · Develop, code, document, and unit test components of the integration functionality for the Student Information System using programming tools and methods approved by the project team · Work with the QA team to design, develop, and execute test cases for functional, performance, and load testing as needed to validate that stated requirements are being met. · Integration test the new or modified service oriented architecture functionality for the Student Information System · Complete all code documentations, code reviews for the integrations architecture related logic developed for the Student Information System · Correct and resolve any defects related to the developed logic for the Student Information System · Communicate daily status to team leads or project management when requested; participate in team meetings as requested · Develop all project documentation required by our Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), which is followed on projects including all applicable our or project specific development standards.
