Job Description

As a business analyst you will lead
technical projects and releases from initiation through

implementation
including phases such as planning, analysis, design,

development, testing
and implementation using a formal project lifecycle methodology

called the
Project Delivery Framework.
As a business analyst, you will be responsible for:

· Strong knowledge of securities processing (preferably with

mutual
funds, hedge funds or any bundled & unitized funds), cash

allocation and
rebalancing, NAV control, trade order routing, clearing,

settlement
(required)
· Knowledge of operational portfolio accounting
· Overall understanding of mutual/hedge fund middle and back

office
operations (required)
· Developing, interpreting, consolidating project documenting,

and
maintaining business and functional requirements
· Leading project planning efforts, create and maintain project
plans
· Assist with status reporting and project administration
· Knowledge of SWIFT messaging (preferred)
· Strong analytical and planning skills
· Strong communications skills
·  5-7 years of experience as a Business Analyst (BA); performed

as
lead Business Analyst in a client facing role ;
has lead team of BAs for business requirement gathering,

analysis and
participated in functional architecture/design activity
·  High level of organization to work on/track multiple

initiatives
and outstanding tasks
·  Exhibits problem solving skills and shows flexibility in
supporting evolution in process, standards, and strategy
· Complete understanding of project SDLC and agile development
methodologies
·  Ability to accurately create and maintain all necessary

project
artifacts
Qualifications
· Demonstrate strong communication skills (written and oral)
· Handle multiple, discrete activities simultaneously
· Strong interpersonal skills
· Demonstrate a consistent attention to detail and strong
analytical skills
· Understanding of the SDLC, with focus on the technical aspects

of
delivery
· Ability to directly address conflicts and escalate issues

where
appropriate
· Experience with MS Project, Visio, Excel and Power Point
· 5-7 years business analysis experience minimum
