Location : Peoria, IL Duration: 6 Months Skills: Minimum of 2 year full time experience as a mainframe DB2 DBA, preferably with Version 8 or higher. (Required) IBM Part 1 and Part 2 z/OS V Database Administration workshop training classes, or equivalent. Complete knowledge of using DDL, and understanding dependant object relationships, specifically: • CREATE • ALTER • DROP • RENAME In depth knowledge of creating, implementing, and resolving problems, with the following IBM DB2 utilities: • COPY • LISTDEF • UNLOAD • LOADS • REORGS • REBUILD INDEX • RECOVER • CHECK DATA • CHECK INDEX SQL Performance tuning experience: • Knowledge of DB2 Explain output. • Experience with IBM Visual Explain, Optimization Service Center, or Data Studio.
