Job Title: LINUX ADMIN Location: ATLANTA, GA Duration: 6 Months Contract **** WILL REQUIRE F2F INTERVIEW following phone screen **** Job Description: Linux System Admin - This is a fully funded role with all approvals in place, hence the ERM approval number. This need is urgent! Complete Description: 6-8 years exp as a Red Hat Linux Engineer Vmware experience (RH sitting on VMware on Blade servers) - has an indepth knowledge on how to create Linux VM's, is familiar with VMware and working with templates, cloning, configuring the network, storage, vmdk's, data stores, etc. Experience with boot from SAN, firmware for qlogic cards, Netapp Utilities, and configuring multipathing in a linux server 3-4 yrs scripting experience: Perl or Bash or Python (must create from scratch) 6 - 8 years Experience building, configuring, installing OS, performance tuning, trouble shooting and installing software on RHL Minimum 5 - 6 years installing, configuring, tuning, trouble shooting Symantec (Veritas) Storage Foundation HA, VxFS and VxVM Experience in configuring with Oracle RAC and VCS on Rhel Servers Ability to integrate and work well with members of different teams A self motivator Ability to communicate technically and understand technical requirements Ability to learn new technologies on own Behavior Characteristics: Required / Desired Skills Skill Required / Desired Amount of Experience Red Hat Linux Engineer Required 8 Years VMware Required 6 Years Unix/Linux Environment Required 10 Years Perl - Create from scratch Required 4 Years Bash - Create from scratch Required 4 Years Python - Create from scratch Required 4 Years OS - Instal, Config, builds on RHL Required 8 Years Solaris to include Solaris 10 Required symantec Required NetApp and SAN Required Looking forward to hear from you.
