*Position#1: (EMC Storage Admin)*



*Job description for EMC VMAX*

Should have around  6+ years of demonstrated  experience and proficiency in
managing and maintaining EMC DMX storage systems and will be responsible
for: -

·         Experience on Enterprise-class Storage from EMC Symmetrix (
Should be capable to handle all the models, preferably DMX 4 )

·         Fiber Switches/Directors from Cisco, Brocade, or McData  (Zoning
/ VSAN / ISL setup )

·         Creation of LUNS, Zoning and Masking using EMC SYMCLI & Control
Center.

·         Hands-on with MPIO and Powerpath ( Installation & Configuration
of Host based multi path software )

·         Hands on experience in RAID Levels, TimeFinder BCV & replication
methods

·          Troubleshooting Hardware and Operating system related issue. (
basic level )

·         Capacity planning, Firmware upgrades and Fine tune of storage
system for optimal performance.

·         Experience in Reporting tools like storage scope and Performance
Manager, Business continuity and Disaster recovery planning would be an
added advantage.

·         Working knowledge on HP UX, Linux and Windows (i.e should be able
to handle LUN configuration from the host side.)

·         FC-SAN, iscsi, NAS based  configuration, data backup design and
configuration (familiarity)

·         Data protection and backup recovery solutions familiarity such as
using virtual tape, disk to disk to tape, data replication

·         Experience in managing SAN on heterogeneous environment (Unix /
Windows)

·         Should be familiar with ITIL processes



*Position#2: (NETAPP Storage Admin)*



*Job Description for NetApp Storage Admin*

- Minimum 4 – 5 years working Experience on NetApp SAN Management and IP

Management

- Fiber Switches/Directors from Cisco, Brocade, or McData (Zoning / VSAN /
ISL setup )

- Lun Management, Monitoring and Replication using FilerView or Command Line

- NFS/ CIFS/ ISCSI, quota management experience

- Additional experience on Veritas Netbackup, TSM or Legato Networker would
be a plus

- Unix and/or Windows systems administration experience a must

- File System and Database Familiarity

- Should be familiar with ITIL processes

- Should have minimum 7 – 8 years overall IT Experience



RESPONSIBILITIES

- Provide day to day global operational activities for Storage and
Backup/Recovery

teams including administering storage array architecture, SAN
infrastructure,

Network Attached Storage (NAS), Enterprise Backup/Restore, Hierarchical
Storage

Management (HSM) and Archival and Retrieval

- Perform all chargeback estimation, provisioning, and documentation tasks
in a timely

manner

- Produce regular reports for management, to assist in cost recovery,
capacity

planning and consolidation

- Assist in Data centre consolidation efforts

- Perform H/W & performance monitoring and maintenance



BUSINESS SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

- Excellent communication skills: Must have strong verbal, oral and written

communication skills .

- Should be good at building trust-relationships and work with business
side, other

technology groups and teams overseas.

- Ability to work independently without supervision
