*Job Description:*
In order to help customer to stabilize and improve performance of their
Business Objects reporting application,
i. Able to define a total disaster recovery plan and present the
customer with various options
ii. Able to work with and manage multiple suppliers
iii. Able to perform as a Team Leader when necessary
iv. Reviews and integrates all application requirements, including
functional, integration, security, performance, quality, and operations
requirements
v. Reviews and integrates the technical architecture requirements
for the development, execution, and operations environments
vi. Makes all final decisions regarding hardware, network products,
system software, and security from BO server stand point
vii. Defines the application and technical architecture structure,
ensuring that it meets the business requirements and performance goals, and
that the technical direction is consistent with the client's long-term
direction
viii. Leads the application and technical architecture analysis,
design, and implementation, and ensures that the product fulfills the
requirements. When applicable, works with the integration solution
architect on these tasks
ix. Reviews application and technical architecture deliverables
throughout development to ensure quality and requirement traceability
x. Ensures adherence to all quality management plans and standards
by participating in quality management reviews as outlined in the
Verification and Validation Overview
xi. Works with the support unit to determine how the application is
supported in production, including backups, disaster recovery, system
performance, and project management
xii. Validates the design with the stakeholders to ensure that the
design satisfies the requirements
Identifies and communicates any cross-area or cross-release issues that
affect other project areas
