*Position: Sr Unified Comunications Engineer * *Location:Plano,TX and Santa Clara,CA * *Duration: 6 Months* * * *Job Description: * *In collaboration with Architecture team, develop and maintain the product and systems strategy for integrating unified communications systems at McAfee including, Avaya telephony, Polycom video, Microsoft Lync, and others. * *Identify and document use cases and requirements of functional areas that can be addressed with unified communications solutions. * *Develop and deliver training, documentation, and operational processes for unified communications services. * *Consult with internal customers to design unified communication and collaboration solutions that meet their business requirements and schedules. * *Develop project plans for assigned work and manage those projects to satisfactory completion within all McAfee policies and processes. * *Develop and implement unified communications solutions and services. * *In collaboration with Architecture, and Operations teams, develop and implement standards for unified communications systems implementation, operation, documentation, changes. * *Document all configuration and solution designs according to defined standards. * *Interface with external maintenance, service, and outsourcing vendors. * *Respond to requests and incidents in a timely fashion and resolve them according to established service standards. * *Provide recommendations for process and technology improvements to the IT organization and the customer organization. * *Participate and/or lead cross functional project teams. * * * *Required: * *• Able to anticipate change and redirect efforts to minimize its impact. * *• Able to complete work without significant direction * *• Able to develop resolutions to complex problems that require frequent use of creativity * *• Able to use judgment within broadly defined policies and practices * *Expert skills in the following: * *• Windows server and desktop operating system environment * *• Polycom video end-points and infrastructure * *• Training and documentation development * *• Web and audio collaboration platforms from Adobe, Cisco, and others * *• Business Requirements gathering, analysis, and solution development * *• Trouble-shooting and service restoral * *• Microsoft Lync application and configuration * *• SIP and H.323 protocols and their design, implementation, and use in a unified communications environment * *Proficient in the following: * *• Avaya Communications Manager version 5 and above in both TDM and IP configurations and Avaya distributed Communications Manager architecture* *• Centralized and automated installation and management of unified communications software in a Microsoft operating system environment * *• Project Management and coordination * *• Vendor management and coordination * *• International implementations/operations of unified communications systems * *• Microsoft Office Suite * *• Communication abilities to executive, operational, and technical personnel in both the IT and customer organizations * *• Call admission control and its application in a global enterprise architecture * * * *Advantageous skills: * *ITIL process frameworks * *Computer Telephony application integration * *SIP based telephony and trunking technologies * *Session Border Controller technology * *Level IV is Expert with 6-8 years of Experience* * * *Regards,* *David Mills* *ITBrainiac Inc* *Direct: 609-606-2634* *da...@itbtalent.com* *www.itbrainiac.com*
