Job Title: Business Analyst Location: Las Vegas, NV Durations: 3-6+ Months Contract Description: Knowledge of operation of personal computers, standard office software (MS Outlook, Excel, Visio, Project, Word), and business analyst tools required. Experience with Business Analysis and Project Management methodologies Knowledge of PC and application software. Knowledge of project planning and scheduling procedures; basic accounting, statistical, business administration and office procedures required. Position will function as a Project Lead/Senior Business Systems Analyst for working with Clark County Departments. With minimal coaching, duties will include: Ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization and the ability to collaborate with business unit customers, IT and Management. Identify business needs of customers and stakeholders to determine solutions to business problems. Ability to interview and communicate with end users, developers and others in person or on the phone to obtain survey results regarding application certification. Schedule and track technical and department users utilizing testing lab resources. Document testing results in both the as-is and to-be context. Develop test scripts, test plans and test scenarios based on the as-is state as well as the to-be models. Document results of application testing for Windows 7/Office Replacement. Assist in developing end-user training content for use in instructor-lead and technology-based training. Work with customers throughout the training process by collecting and analyzing feedback. Demonstrates professional organization, documentation, communication and interpersonal skills. Maintains and communicates accurate status of work performed.
