*Role: IT Business Analyst  **
Farmington, CT
Project duration: 6 - 12 months*

*Must have 4+ years of AMISYS Exp*

Purpose: To provide business analysis, test services, technical, analytical
support and integrated solutions to Client’s Information Systems needs in a
cost effective, timely and professional manner.



*Technical Knowledge, Experience, Skill Requirements:*

1. Bachelor’s degree, Computer Science, MIS or equivalent business
experience.

*2. 3 + years Business Analyst experience in Healthcare, knowledge of
4010/5010, ICD9-ICD10 is a plus.*

*3. 5 years experience with Amisys Advance R3 or higher or equivalent
Healthcare Admin. System(s)*

4. Experienced creating BRDs and executing effective test strategies, test
plans and test cases.

5. Excellent problem solving and analytical sills, including understanding
and analysis of data.

6. Excellent communication skills in written, verbal and non-verbal modes

7.  Ability to work independently, exercise sound business judgment and
discretion.

8.   Knowledge of SQL, T-SQL, Java, HTML, XML, Relational Database
knowledge/experience with SQL Server 2005, including SSRS, SSAS, SSIS and
Oracle 10g DBMS and HP Quality Center are a plus

9.  Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, MS-Access, MS-Project,
MS-Visio, Microsoft SharePoint

*Key Accountabilities:*

1. Provides business analysis, technical and analytical support, and
project management services regarding the implementation of system changes,
production support and new developments.

2.  Coordinates and conducts acceptance testing of AMISYS system software
revisions and upgrades and analyzes new functionality for incorporation
into area work flows. Recommends solutions for system deficiencies.

3. Assists with the vendor management of AMISYS and Surround Applications
(A&SA) by communicating system incidents to vendor through documentation,
recreations and analysis of issues.  Develops workarounds for users areas
and completes cycle with coordination of patch and enhancement testing.

4. Develops and maintains comprehensive understanding of the AMISYS system
(both functionally and technically) along with Client’s business
applications.

5. Provides customer service to internal end users with regard to AMISYS
system functionality.  Assists users in determining efficient policies and
procedures for utilizing the AMISYS system.

6. Performs other related projects and duties as assigned.
