Position               :               Wireless Testing Engineer
Location              :               San Diego, CA
Duration             :               10+ month contract

Job Requirement:*
Education Qualifications: BS / MS in Electronics/Electrical Engineering
with 6 – 10 years of relevant experience.
Selected candidate would be responsible for testing WLAN (802.11
a/b/g/n/ac) and LTE BT/WLAN co-ex on cell phone based devices.
Responsibilities would include test plan development, test cases execution,
test case automation, debugging and reporting of issues.
3GPP LTE knowledge is desired
Experience with WLAN (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac) testing including certification
and co-ex is preferred
Strong knowledge of networking protocols such as TCP, UDP,DHCP and DNS
required
Knowledge of Wi-Fi Direct, Wi-Fi Hotspot, DLNA testing is a plus
Knowledge of programming / scripting languages such as Perl/Python/TCL is
required.



The Mobile products with WLAN/BT/LTE are driven by software components
which include complex drivers and firmware that support an array of IEEE
802.11a/b/g/n and 802.11ac wireless devices.
You will lead one or more projects in the testing department and have the
following responsibilities:
a) Develop automated test scripts for various test suites using proven
automation framework.
b) Devise test strategies for different platforms and software environments
including 3rd party applications.
d) Initiate and develop proactive methods to detect product weaknesses in a
timely manner.
e) Conduct tests as required with internal (checked) and external (free)
builds, analyze and report results, and document and track issues in the
bug tracking database.
f) Provide product feedback to engineering teams, including program
managers and actively engage in solutions.
g) Engage and interface with external testing agencies as appropriate.
