Job Title: - Performance Engineer Location: - Bedminster, NJ Duration: - 6+ Months *!! HOT REQUIREMENT !!* Job Description:- Candidate will be responsible for Identification of the application characteristics: Application Architecture, Service Interface Protocol (transport and data), data anomalies etc for optimizing customer experience. Gather performance data for applications using tools such as: CA CEM, CA Wily Introscope, CA NetQoS, DynaTrace Synthetic, Gomez etc, and isolate performance problems and bottlenecks to identify root cause of the performance issues across multiple tiers, and work with network and app teams to resolve them by providing guidance. Work with Cognos developer to setup custom reports for real time reporting, develop Dashboards, alerts to proactively escalate and narrow down to the root cause of business transaction slow response issues or error conditions. Strong analytical/statistical background required to data mine application performance trends. This individual will be instrumental in mentoring, training and providing technical expertise on an ongoing basis to the application team members in the application performance monitoring and application optimization area. 8 years of information technology experience with large and complex applications 5 years of design, install, configuration and deploying application monitoring solutions in large enterprises 3 years of application programming/development Strong knowledge of performance optimization concepts within applications. Strong knowledge of APM methodology, tools, standards and procedures. Working knowledge of the following tools preferred: CA CEM, CA Wily Introscope, CA NetQoS, DynaTrace Synthetic, Gomez, Wireshark, HTTP Analyzer, Fiddler, BMC AppSight Excellent technical/analytical skills (e.g., systems design) and/or strong programming and design skills. Working knowledge of project management concepts In depth knowledge of information systems concepts.
