Direct Client Need - Immediate Interview & Start !! We have a need for Automation Engineers (TE 5 –Auto) for Chicago, IL following are the details Number of Positions : 2 Location : Downtown Chicag, IL Start Date : Immediate End Date : 12/31/2013 FUNCTIONS: · Plan, create, maintain and review single user GUI automation using QTP · Administration & expansion of client proprietary Automated Test Framework. · Analyze & report on output generated from automated tests. · Work with manual testing team, test engineers, and infrastructure teams to implement automated testing products & procedures. · Provide technical support to help resolve customers' test automation problems/issues. · Serve as a technical expert resolving critical and complex test automation issues. · Provide technical direction and expertise to a group or department regarding testing issues. · Apply knowledge by providing significant contributions across multiple projects and by acting in a leadership/mentoring capacity regarding testing tools and services. · Find solutions and initiate change proactively in the testing arena. · Organize testing projects and guide the direction of multiple-person projects. · Comply with HIPAA, Diversity Principles, Corporate Integrity, Compliance Program policies and other applicable corporate and departmental policies. · Maintain complete confidentiality of company business. · Maintain communication with management regarding development within areas of assigned responsibilities and perform special projects as required or requested. ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS: · Expert level experience developing test automation via QTP and VBScript. · Bachelor Degree in Computer Science with 3 years testing and/or programming experience OR 6 years of testing and/or programming experience. · Experience with two or more of the following Automated Test or Test Methodology Tools: Mercury WinRunner; Mercury QTP; Mercury Quality Center; Rational ClearQuest; Rational ReqPro · Knowledge of MS Windows and UNIX. · Knowledge in database testing, especially Microsoft SQLServer and ORACLE. · Ability to apply engineering approaches to solving problems and ability to utilize research methods, problem solving and resolution skills. · Clear and concise verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills including the ability to work in teams. · Analytical skills coupled with initiative and accountability. PREFERRED JOB REQUIREMENTS: · Testing experience with the following technologies desired: HTTP, application servers, multi-tier client/server. · Master Degree. · 6+ years in software development using any of the following technologies: C/C++; Java; Python; Basic Script; Java Script, Ajax, or VBScribt. · Knowledge of Health Care Systems.
