Hello ASSOCIATES ,HOT REQUIREMENT Senior Oracle Apps DBA Contract Duration: 6mths Location: Reston, Virginia Rate : $55/Hr on C2C ______________ Responsibilities: -As a Senior Database Administrator, you are instrumental in researching, evaluating, designing, testing, recommending, and planning implementation of new versions of Oracle Applications, database and database tools. -Need to have the ability to lead the efforts related to database implementations, system operation and maintenance. -Support multiple production, test and dev environments concurrently -Support multiple projects concurrently and flexible to adapt to changing priorities -Documenting processes/procedures for routine issues help increase customer satisfaction in respective line of business. -Working actively with vendors and users to resolve issues.
Qualifications: -8+ years of demonstrated database management experience in a professional environment -Extensive hands-on experience (5+ years) with Oracle Apps 11i and R12 -Experience in implementing EBS 11i/R12 single sign on using OAM 11.1.x, OID 11.1.1.6, Webgate, Access gate with Microsoft AD being the source of truth -Experience in Configuring OAM and OID with high availability is a must -Experience with Oracle Weblogic server 10.3.x -Experience with Quest STAT 5.6.x is a plus -Hands on upgrade of Oracle Apps for minor releases and major releases -Hands on experience with high availability architecture including Oracle standby with data guard, Oracle RAC, RMAN, PCP configuration. -Experience with Oracle RDBMS versions 10g, 11i -Experience with Sabrix/Vertex, Kofax 170 systems is a plus -Experience with compliance tools like GRCC is a plus -Demonstrated Team Lead or Management experience -Ability to work in fast paced constantly changing environments, being able to manage multiple environments. -Expertise in troubleshooting issues around oracle apps environments -Experience with managing ebusiness environments in dmz configurations -Experience with Oracle OBIEE configuration and trouble shooting and exposure to SOA -Extensive Shell scripting experience, Expertise in backup and recovery methods -Excellent communication skills and consistently high performer in meeting business needs. Description: 11i/R12 Apps DBA: This Senior Oracle Apps DBA will be responsible for supporting and managing the enterprise-wide Oracle apps environments in regards to production, development and test environments. This person will work on the installation, configuration, cloning and upgrade of Oracle apps 11i software and related products and will be responsible for establishing and maintaining sound backup and recovery policies/procedures. This person will be responsible for capacity planning and providing 24x7 support on a on call pager rotation model. Should be highly motivated and self driven .
