This individual will be expected to provide expertise and hands-on participation in the following activities: - Elicit business system requirements using one or more of the following methods: analyze current processes, interview users, conduct JAD sessions or group meetings, review/analyze existing documentation or system artifacts. - Analyze and document business processes (both ‘as is’ and ‘to be’ processes) - Work with State Staff to ensure that sufficient document/artifacts reviews take place during the course of the project. - Perform tasks associated with the KT Project plan which includes cross training and overviews for projects which are completed without the involvement of state staff. - Develop or maintain system requirements in detailed, clear and well organized functional documents (business requirements documents, business or system use cases, reports) and/or process flow diagrams. - Develop or maintain test plans and detailed test cases. Develop or maintain training or user acceptance testing plans and Tier 1 support guides. - Analyze system documentation and system artifacts to develop an understanding of the associated business process. - Develop detailed functional and system tests from documented system requirements. Ensure appropriate test coverage by mapping system requirements to test cases. Develop or contribute to the development of regression tests and/or user acceptance tests. - Execute functional and system tests, including regression tests.
