Here is what need someone to have the ability to do as an SAP Data
Services consultant
- Interfacing
- Setup system connections between Data Service and ECC
- Setup system connections between Data Service and *AGS’s job
scheduling software called Zena*
- Client will purchase the SAP Adapter provided by AGS
- Mapping multiple external data formats to a single format
- Idocs
- BAPI
- Spreadsheets
- Setup data validations to cross reference tables
- The cross reference tables will be created based on conversation
data (e.g., old vendor number to new vendor number, old G/L
account number
to new G/L account number, etc.)
- Setup data validations to allow systems to validate using data in
Data Services
- Conversions
- Setup system communications to receive external files (e.g., Vendor
Master, Customer Master, COA)
