*Position: Java Developer with EDI Location: Austin, Texas Druation: 6 month contract* *Project/Role:* Work with Edifecs consultants and other technical resources to install, configure, customize, and integrate the Edifecs product suite Work with team lead, technical, and functional resources to ensure solution meets business and functional requirements Complete High-Level Design, Detailed Design, Component Build and Test, Assembly Test, and Performance test for assigned components Support Product and User Acceptance Tests Create reusable automated test scripts Identify, escalate, and manage project issues and risks in a timely manner *Skills Required* Strong knowledge in Java, JDBC, JMS and EJB 3.0 web services. In depth knowledge of developing and maintaining web services (Soap and Rest) using java, Oracle Fusion SOA 11g. Experience in design and implementation of Oracle Fusion Middleware solutions using, BPEL, OWSM, OSB Registry, repository, etc. Extensive experience in installing, configuring and administering Oracle Weblogic server (Oracle Weblogic SOA Suite - including JMS, JDBC ) Knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL and Stored procedure. Knowledge XML, XSD, SOAP, and WDL Provide application support and Handle technical service requests of varying complexity Willingness to work flexible / odd hours at times, based on needs, including on-call rotation. *Preferences:* Development experience using JDevloper and NetBean IDEs. Knowledge in various integration patterns. Knowledge of the structure and syntax of the ANSI X12 837I, 837P,837D and 270. Knowledge of EDI. Knowledge in Service oriented architecture patterns and SOA governance. Knowledge of windows scripting using VB/PowerShell and Unix.
