In this role the contractor would perform in the role of business analyst in assisting with process review and writing of business requirements, and also play a key role in planning for and executing on testing. *ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES*** · Attend design reviews to gain understanding of functionality in order to develop and execute testing and analysis tasks and responsibilities · Work with team to create and review business requirements, test cases and test data for new product functionality and/or customer requests from requirements/specifications · Assist with test execution; functional, regression, upgrade and install testing to assure functionality is working as expected · Conduct analysis of testing results/failures. Prepare and submit detailed problem reports for correction. Work with development staff to resolve issues · Verify problems reported during testing are working as designed after fix has been implemented. Verify no further regressions are caused by the fix. · Able to identify and implement solutions for process improvements · Analyze Customer Build Rejection Levels and Reasons. Expand test coverage, test documentation and test execution accordingly. · Produce process and procedure documentation · Perform tasks that allow the business to run its daily processes including security setup and problem solving with access requests · Other duties as directed by project manager, supervisor and/or management · Responsible for communicating with team lead on progress/status in a timely manner · Ability to work with team leads and product management to meet project completion dates with acceptable levels of quality · Able to work hours outside the normal business hours on occasion ** *EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED: *** · 1-3 years of experience in developing business process and test data for software systems · 1 -3 years of experience in test execution of software systems · Experience working with stakeholders regarding information gathering and problem identification · Understanding of software development and testing methodologies · Must be willing to spend the time necessary to achieve and maintain a high level of understanding of business process and products *SKILLS/ABILITIES: *** · Strong skills with MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint · Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and consistent follow-through to assure problems are resolved and products meet established quality criteria standards · Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
