*Role: *.Net Developer** *Location:* Albany, NY *Duration:* 12 Months *Description:* -Candidates demonstrating professional experience with service or traditional application development in preference to web development. -5+ years of recent, professional development experience using Microsoft Visual Studio, C#, and the .NET framework v3.5+. -Ability to work productively in a team environment. -Familiarity with team development, including code sharing, code reviews, source control, and continuous integration. -Experience developing optimized, enterprise-level applications with emphasis on performance and scalability. -Experience writing and debugging code for complex, multi-threaded applications. -Candidate possesses a strong, working knowledge of object oriented development principles. -Understanding of Unicode and other character encodings. -Understanding of application interoperability principles, including client-server networking, direct implementation of TCP/IP-based network communication, and a working knowledge of the HTTP protocol. -Development of unit tests for complete code coverage. -Experience with XML, including schema-creation and validation.
