*Please send resume to s...@cncconsulting.com * Job Title: SQL Server DBA Location: Lansing, MI Duration: 12 Months Direct Client Position Maintain and Troubleshoot Windows SQL Server 2008 backend to a Case Management System in development. Skills Required: Experience in database administration for MS SQL Server (2008 and 2012). • Strong knowledge of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options for MSSQL Server. • Experience in Performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO), using native monitoring and troubleshooting tools. • Experience in troubleshooting and resolving database problems. • Experience with backups, restores and recovery models. • Experience in implementing operational automation using scripts. • Strong knowledge of indexes, index management and statistics. • Knowledge of implementing security in classified databases. • Experience working with Windows server, including Active Directory and proper disk configurations. • Good communication and documentation skills.
