Please reply to my email with a copy of your resume and hourly rate. *Senior Data/Business Analyst – Business Intelligence * *Location: Cambridge, MA* *Long term* *Description: Looking for a candidate with strong analytical and Pharma background to be a part of the Commercial IT Business Intelligence team at our company.* This new position will be responsible for the following: • Supporting business function teams with drawing inferences and insights from complex data • Help business make informed decisions by identifying, extracting, manipulating, analyzing data • Perform detail data analysis and combine it with business knowledge to aid decision making processes • Help in the visualization and presentation of data aligned with business • Manipulate and query data stored in multiple relational databases through SQL queries and procedures • Develop drill down reports using Business Objects or other BI front end tools out of the Enterprise Data Warehouse • Conduct detailed analysis of databases and systems to identify real or potential data quality issues including accuracy, completeness, relevance, and timeliness • Proactively identify, present findings, and follow through to completion process improvements that improve data quality, drive efficiency, mitigate risk, or provide new value to the organization • Identify and extract essential information to support investigations, analyze the data, and synthesize the information into easily understood reports/ findings/ recommendations • Document detail requirements for various business analytic needs • Manage development of change/enhancement requests arising from the business • Design and oversee process improvements • Identify opportunities for innovation *Qualifications * • Ability to effectively interact across various levels of management • Strong data analysis skills, knowledge of Pharma Sales data and metrics preferred • Ability to understand how to effectively and efficiently answer critical business questions • Ability to make new insights by navigating through vast amount of data generated from multiple sources • Proven record of collaboratively working across functional boundaries, with excellent analytical, problem solving, communication and presentation skills • Strong knowledge of SQL, ETL processes and related software skills • Knowledge of databases, warehouses, business intelligence systems • Ability to instill trust, motivate, and work with other people • Works independently *Education & Work Experience * • Bachelor degree for an accredited college or university with major coursework in Computer Science or Business Administration required; MBA or master’s degree in relevant field strongly preferred • Proven sales reporting capabilities • 8-10 years of experience in Pharma analytics or IT • 8-10 years of experience with Commercial Pharma information • 8-10 years of experience with business intelligence and visualization tools (Business Objects, RoamBI, Qlikview) • Experience in leading data related work streams preferred • Experience in complex data integration projects • Experience with database and large data sets -- *Thanks & Regards Mahesh G IM! bmahesh.ar Y IM! maheshb_ar* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP BASIS" group.
