Responsible for the entire lifecycle of Citrix projects, inception through delivery (architect, design, implement and support) for Citrix XenDesktop and XenApp environments, including third-party tools to improve user experience. As an authority on Citrix products, technologies and networking, the position will support external clients by providing them with the technical expertise related to the application of Citrix technologies. The Product Specialist is capable of solving complex technical problems, communicating technical concepts to clients and peers with mixed levels of technical abilities, and making sound technical and architectural decisions independently. Define and contribute to Citrix knowledge capital. They will be the Technical go-to team member and keep current on new/relevant technologies and industry trends. They must be able to keep abreast of the competitive landscape, IT industry trends, and related vendor product/solutions. Communicate technical concepts effectively in written and oral form. Reviews all major changes to existing Citrix systems. Ensures optimal decisions have been made regarding analysis, design, and implementation of all Citrix projects. Leading technical design work to develop new Remote Access solutions and implement new Citrix features. Experience troubleshooting and maintaining Citrix Xen environment.
