Send resumes to rame...@systelinc.com* * *Position: IT Technical Project Manager with Serialization Exp* *Location: Foster City, CA* *Duration: 12+ Months* *Job Description:* The Project Manager must be skilled in project management methodologies, must possess strong communication skills - both verbal and written and will be responsible for tracking progress of IT activities, working with IT leads to ensure correct resources are engaged. The Project Manager will also prepare project team and steering committee materials related to the project. He/She will ensure project work compiles with established practices, policies and processes. Collaborates with the team and functional areas to anticipate and identify project issues and risks, which pose a challenge to achieving goals. Implements plans with the team to resolve such issues and organizes team to execute on the actions. * * *Essential Duties and Job Functions:* · Development and management of IT activities in the serializationand ePedigree project plan · Manages resources, project schedule and budget to meet deliverables. Maintains all reporting requirements as needed. · Prepare weekly status reports that include project progress, issues, spend, risks, milestones, decisions and status. Manage issues, risks and escalations as needed · Ensures all deliverables and commitments are met and the project is in compliance with relevant standards and methodologies. · Works closely with IT Lead, Application Lead, Infrastructure Lead and Integration Lead on compiling and communicating IT project status · Interfaces with stakeholders and management to manage expectations, provide status updates on project and discuss concerns. · Is accountable for ensuring resolution of concerns/issues. Develops project budget for budget request purposes, leveraging his/her team. · Actively manages the execution of the project, including assigning work to project staff, managing project scope and project finances, and ensuring the quality of deliverables. · The program has a global focus and some travel will be required. *Knowledge, Experience and Skills:* · 8-10 years of IT project/program management experience in deployment of global project covering multiple geographic locations · Prior experience of program management in a manufacturing environment is also desired · Possesses good understanding of the SDLC, including agile development methodology, and how to apply them for relevant projects. · Possesses technical project management acumen in multiple disciplines (e.g. Software Applications, Infrastructure, Databases, Integration etc) of IT with experience in managing project responsibilities and meeting timelines. · Ability to work with internal and external vendors in delivering projects · Knowledgeable in Business, Manufacturing ERP and Supply Chain processes and technologies · Knowledgeable in Supply Chain operations and technology solutions · Strong quantitative data analysis and critical thinking skills · Experience in an GxP-regulated environment is desired · Good understanding of business and IT strategy/planning and overall understanding of IT planning, IT services, IT solutions, IT capabilities and IT project lifecycle · Solid understanding of IT governance as well as PMO and portfolio, program & project management · Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, facilitation and diplomacy skills · Change leadership ability; creating meaning, innovation, transformation & problem solving.
