The primary job duties of this position include: Data security, data modeling and database design, and assisting in establishing and maintaining standard development practices for the data warehouse. Work in coordination with a team of developers to expand the current Data Warehouse. Work with Business Analyst & customers on analysis and logical design for mappings and ETL. Perform unit testing and correct all identified bugs. Perform complex PL/SQL coding in a Data Warehouse environment. Writing Extract/Transform/Load (ETL) routines for the Data Warehouse to support the CONNECTIONS initiatives. Modify Data Warehouse routines as needed to support the functionality and security requirement for CONNECTIONS. Design/model, construct, load, and validate the data tables though the enterprise Data Warehouse architecture to support CONNECTIONS Data Warehouse projects and Cognos Reporting. Design & Develop the new/re-write NCANDS project. Requirements: 5 years experience in a data warehouse setting as a developer utilizing an enterprise data warehouse with dependent data marts. 5 years experience using advanced Extract/Transform/Load techniques including bulk select, bulk insert, arrays, dynamic SQL and developing detailed incremental ETL processes. 5 years experience building, maintaining and optimizing Data Marts for efficient usage by applications and users for such tasks as reporting. 4 years experience in an Oracle Data Warehouse as a developer performing development work. 5 years experience using PL/SQL 4 years experience developing and testing maps in Oracle Warehouse Builder (OWB) or Informatica, including data versioning techniques. 5 years problem solving technical issues demonstrating high ability to think and resolve issues under pressure.
