Job Title: QA Analyst With Linux Location: Louisville, CO Duration: 7+ Months **upon offer, candidates must complete background check and drug test* Candidate & Write-Up Criteria: IT QA experience – ideally automated and manual Experience working with Linux and related systems Good verbal communication skills* EXPERIENCE 3 + years in Verification and Validation or design of Complex Software and Hardware Systems. Basic knowledge of UNIX operating systems, Shell scripting, manual and automated testing. DESIRED/PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS 1+ years experience in Medical Device industry is highly preferred Understanding of software development processes is preferred. Knowledge of federal and international regulations, such as FDA QSR, ISO 13485, and Medical Device Directive is preferred. Experience implementing multi-level testing strategies (blackbox, graybox, whitebox). Experience designing and executing requirements-driven, functional test cases and test suites. Experience reviewing and accurately dispositioning software complaints. Ability to participate in and lead cross-functional teams to investigate and resolve problems. Ability to make recommendations to improve the software development process. Experience with medical device regulations and requirements for documentation and testing. Solid grasp of industry standards aimed at validating & testing software component(s). Keen quantitative and analytical skills. Understanding of software development methodologies and software lifecycle.
